Description: L’erotisme is a collection of short films many which feature erotica while most of them just push the boundaries of conventional filmmaking with their bizarre, grotesque and surreal imagery. While watching these short films you will see needles sowing orifices shut (Ritualis), a man who falls in love with a prostitute (Maldoror), a woman who plays with her ass for nine minutes (Ass), an overexposed blowjob scene (KI), razors, sadism and heightened colors schemes (La Fin de Notre Amour), a tale about rape and revenge (Extase de chair brisée), a toy baby doll is beaten and fondled (Baby Doll), a naked woman poses with a pig head (The Loneliest Little Boy in the World) and a woman who plays with herself with Black Sabbaths “Paranoid” as the soundtrack (Paranoid).

Time of the Gypsies (1988)

Goran Bregovic, born almost half a century ago to a Serbian mother and a Croatian father, was an idolized rock star in Tito's Yugoslavia with his band Bjelo Dugme before gaining international recognition with the soundtrack to "Time of the Gypsies". He has since written three major scores back to back for his fellow countryman, the acclaimed film director Emir Kusturica.

Picnic At Hanging Rock (1975)

The main title music, which plays a major role in creating the haunting atmosphere for which the film is remembered, comes from two traditional Romanian panpipe pieces, "Doina: Sus Pe Culmea Dealului" and "Doina Lui Petru Unc" with Romanian Gheorghe Zamfir on panpipe (or panflute) and Swiss born Marcel Cellier playing organ.

Director Peter Weir first heard Zamfir's music on the album Flutes de Pan et Orgue, originally released on the French Cellier label. Although the film was instrumental in popularising Zamfir's distinctive music, Weir later revealed that Zamfir refused to contribute original music for the film, forcing Weir to obtain the licencing rights for the tracks he had originally heard on the Cellier disc.

There is currently no official soundtrack commercially available, but I have managed to track down some identical - if not indeed the original compositions - that were used in the film, in particulary the main theme that is here entitled "Fantasy (Doina: Sus Pe Culmea Dealului)". I have also added some bonus tracks that are basically variations on the main theme. In other words, this is the most comprehensive soundtrack to "Picnic At Hanging Rock" available!
